THE TARQUIN MEI PRIZE

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Tarquin MEI prize, designed to promote practical applications of mathematics.

Students can win £100 in books and their school £400 worth of Tarquin resources, undertaking a short project.

The prize is funded by the CFR Griffin memorial fund. Grandfather of Tarquin's owner, who was both an engineer and a mathematics publisher, we believe the prize would have met his approval.

TIP OF THE MONTH - SEARCHING

There is a full Boolean search facility on the tab at the top right.

But also we've built in filters for your browsing - for example if you wished to see the puzzles we have for mathematics, you could either choose the Puzzles tab to see all books, posters and physical puzzles - then choose the Maths filter in the purpoe toolbar. Or choose Equipment to see the physical puzzles only and then filter Maths.

With Tarquin's range it can be difficult to keep everything in stock all the time - so this site flags items not currently available and allows you to register interest in them without buying. In a few weeks time you'll also be able to track your order - see that it is received, processed and how it was sent.
